Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Meyers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rainey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Rainey is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Meyers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Chris Rainey! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rainey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rainey looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rainey fails to land with a series of punches.
Meyers shoots for a double leg takedown but Rainey sprawls well. He's pushed Meyers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rainey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rainey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Meyers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rainey somewhat. Horrible takedown by Meyers or perhaps it was just good defense by Rainey which made him look bad. Meyers tries for a takedown but Rainey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Meyers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Meyers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rainey as he jumps to the side. Rainey stuffs the takedown. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Meyers is defended easily by Rainey. Nice takedown defense from Rainey. No joy for Meyers on that attempt. Meyers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meyers feints and as Rainey raises his hands in defense, Meyers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Meyers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Meyers wants to work for an arm triangle but Rainey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Meyers is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rainey is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
