Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Krush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raive Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Krush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raive Manuel!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manuel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Manuel connects with a couple of short punches.

Krush had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Manuel defends it easily.

Krush is looking for a triangle but Manuel pushes his legs off easily.
Manuel stands up over Krush, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Krush has his feet on Manuel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Krush tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Manuel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Krush avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Krush. No joy for Manuel on that attempt.
Manuel throws a series of punches but Krush moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Manuel misses the target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Manuel jumps guard but Krush turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Manuel tries to break the clinch but Krush is controlling the position.
Manuel wants to get back to striking at distance but Krush won't allow it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Krush lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Manuel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Krush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Manuel takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A slapping body kick lands there for Krush.
Raive Manuel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krush feints and then cracks Manuel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Manuel down.

Krush misses with a knee strike.
Krush pushes off an throws an elbow but Manuel leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Krush lands an elbow just above Manuel 's eye.

Krush's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A head kick from Krush lands but Manuel takes it in his stride.

Krush tries to close the distance and clinch up but Manuel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Manuel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krush tries to avoid it but Manuel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krush to the ground. Krush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Manuel has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Krush.

Manuel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krush pulls his leg out and moves away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Krush looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Manuel tries to bum rush Krush with a series of wild strikes but Krush uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Krush wants to clinch up but Manuel keeps it at a distance.

Manuel looks to land a right hand but Krush moved out of range.

Manuel tries to circle away but Krush has him pinned against the cage.

Manuel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Krush. Krush obviously looking to wear him down.

and Krush counters with a good low kick that Manuel was not able to check.
Manuel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krush tries to avoid it but Manuel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krush to the ground. Krush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A lazy left from Manuel finds it's target.
Krush tries to clinch up but Manuel circles away and keeps his distance.

Manuel steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Krush. That one must have hurt.
Krush scores with a one two! Manuel had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Krush with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Krush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Manuel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krush's head backwards.

Krush goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Krush rushes Manuel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Krush scores with a nice short uppercut.
Manuel has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Krush.

Krush throws a series of punches but Manuel moves out of range.

Manuel scores with a sloppy right hand. Krush should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manuel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Manuel creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Krush sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
