Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Krane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Danny Krane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antoni Castillo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillo throws a leg kick but Krane sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Krane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Castillo but Castillo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Krane shoots in looking for a takedown. Castillo tries to sprawl out of it but Krane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Castillo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Krane shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Krane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Castillo closes the distance and clinches up with Krane, looking for a takedown. Castillo pushes Krane against the cage but Krane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Krane shoots in for a takedown but Castillo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Krane. No joy for Castillo on that attempt.
No luck for Krane with that takedown attempt.
Krane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Castillo swivels and escapes.

Castillo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Krane up against the cage.

Castillo manages to pull guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Krane wants to control from the top but Castillo keeps moving.

Castillo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Castillo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Krane stands up from Castillo's guard - Krane perhaps looking for a knockout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Castillo is defended easily by Krane.

Krane shoots in looking for a takedown. Castillo tries to sprawl out of it but Krane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Castillo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Castillo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Krane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Castillo tries for a takedown but Krane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Krane or perhaps it was just good defense by Castillo which made him look bad.
Krane shoots in for a double leg but Castillo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Krane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Castillo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Castillo is looking to break free of the clinch but Krane has double underhooks.
Krane is trying to pull guard but Castillo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Krane lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Castillo!
Krane is landing with some decent strikes but Castillo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Castillo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Krane dives in and grabs Castillo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castillo pushes down on Krane's head and hops out.

Krane is trying to drag Castillo to the mat but Castillo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Castillo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Krane.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Castillo has Krane pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Krane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Krane wants to pass the guard but Castillo is keeping the position.
Castillo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Krane forces his way into half guard.
Castillo is trying to control but can't.

Krane is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Castillo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Krane kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Castillo is looking to improve his position.
Krane not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Castillo is looking for a sweep. Krane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Krane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Castillo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Krane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Castillo is just riding it out for now. Krane eventually gives up the hold.
Krane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Castillo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Krane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Castillo's head.
Krane landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Krane is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Castillo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krane.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Castillo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Castillo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Krane to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Krane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Krane wants to control from the top but Castillo keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castillo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Krane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Castillo wants to control but Krane passes easily into half guard.

Castillo is defending against the submission attempts here by Krane.
Krane tries to pass the half guard into mount. Castillo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Castillo is trying to stand.

Krane seems to be working for a kimura but Castillo defends the submission attempt.

Krane is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Castillo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krane.

Krane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Krane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Castillo tries to get to full guard but Krane has control of the leg.
Krane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castillo keeps working.

Krane looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Danny Krane decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
