Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Demps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demps has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Kenny Demps looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Demps looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Montoya fails in his attempt to clinch.
Montoya closes the distance and pushes Demps back into the cage.
Demps tries to pull guard but Montoya won't allow it.
Montoya is trying to maintain a safe position but Demps gets an underhook and turns Montoya into the cage.
Montoya is looking to take this one to the mat.

Montoya stalling in the clinch but Demps improves position.
Montoya tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Demps just stands there and leans against the cage.

Montoya drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Demps gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Montoya dives in and grabs Demps's left leg, looking for a takedown. Demps pushes down on Montoya's head and hops out.

Montoya shoots in for a takedown but Demps shows good takedown defense.

Montoya fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Montoya shoots in for a double leg but Demps sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Montoya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Demps pinned against the cage. Demps gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Demps rushes Montoya and presses him up against the cage.
Montoya pulls Demps into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Montoya looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montoya has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Demps is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Montoya.

Montoya is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Demps has his hands clasped together but Montoya extends an breaks Demps's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Montoya.
