Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Burst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Jameson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burst tries to clinch but Jameson is having none of it.
Horrible takedown by Jameson or perhaps it was just good defense by Burst which made him look bad.

Jameson pushes Burst up against the cage in a clinch.
Burst lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Burst drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jameson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jameson breaks the clinch.

Jameson moves into the clinch successfully.
Burst leaning his opponent against the cage.

Jameson pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jameson controlling the position.
Jameson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burst's guard.
Jameson passes Burst's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Burst is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Burst wants to get back to his feet.

Jameson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jameson is working for takedown but Burst is calmly controlling the position for now.
Burst wants to break free but Jameson has control.
Burst has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Jameson tightens his grip and picks Burst up, before dumping him to the ground. Burst manages to land in guard.

Burst wants to get back to his feet but Jameson passes into half guard.

Jameson wants to pass to mount but Burst is defending the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Carl Jameson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jameson throws a sloppy head kick and Burst moves out of range easily.

Burst shoots in for a double leg but Jameson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Burst scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Burst leaves Jameson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Burst tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jameson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Burst fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jameson avoids it really well and circles away.
Jameson missing with a left hand there. Burst was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Burst throws the kick towards the body but Jameson avoids it.
Jameson ducks under a wild hook from Burst.

Jameson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Burst avoids a wild elbow strike from Jameson.

Burst misses with a short punch on the inside.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Burst.
Burst is looking to clinch but Jameson is avoiding it.

Jameson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Burst is trying to defend but Jameson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Burst has his foot on Jameson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jameson works his way back into a safe position though.

Jameson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Burst was covering up waiting for the punch and Jameson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Burst is looking for a triangle but Jameson pushes his legs off easily.
