Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cesar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jacobs tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cesar is in Jacobs's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jacobs is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jacobs working Cesar over with strikes. Jacobs slips a nice elbow through Cesar's hands, connecting with Cesar's forehead. Jacobs lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cesar tries to get out of the position. Jacobs is nestled in close to Cesar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Cesar wants to sweep but Jacobs has passed to side control! Jacobs looks up at the clock and then as Cesar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jacobs smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacobs landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jacobs with the ground and pound but Cesar uses the opportunity to regain guard. Jacobs is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jacobs chips away with some ground and pound. Cesar trying to control the position.
Jacobs lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jacobs throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cesar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jacobs content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jacobs in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jacobs lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jacobs's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jacobs with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cesar wants to hold on but Jacobs pushes him away. Jacobs with shots to the head and body - Cesar looks very uncomfortable down there. Jacobs lands a big shot there that rocks Cesar but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jacobs cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cesar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cesar is trying to escape the mount.
