Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oakley Bark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvi Kalaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bark comes to the ring accompanied by shut em down. Kalaso has chosen shut em down as his entrance music. Harvi Kalaso looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bark scores with a decent looking hook.
Kalaso shoots in but no luck this time.

and Bark counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bark working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kalaso doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kalaso manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bark manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kalaso manages to get himself to full guard.

Kalaso escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bark gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kalaso has his foot on Bark's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bark works his way back into a safe position though.

Bark sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kalaso's guard.
Bark seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bark connects with a nice short shot to Kalaso's temple.
