Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dale Bellido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dale Bellido looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dale Bellido! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Veli Schwarzeneg! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzeneg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bellido was covering up waiting for the punch and Schwarzeneg finishes the takedown easily into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Schwarzeneg wants to stand but Bellido is controlling his posture from full guard. Schwarzeneg won't allow Bellido to get back to his feet. Bellido keeping full guard, as Schwarzeneg tries to pass. Bellido pulls Schwarzeneg in to control the position. Schwarzeneg wants to stand but Bellido is controlling his posture from full guard. Schwarzeneg passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzeneg wants to advance to full mount but Bellido doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Schwarzeneg won't allow Bellido to get back to his feet. Schwarzeneg wants to pass the guard but Bellido is keeping the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bellido has a closed guard, preventing Schwarzeneg from standing up. Schwarzeneg being controlled here momentarily. Schwarzeneg would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dale Bellido. Bellido shoots in for a takedown but Schwarzeneg shows good takedown defense. Bellido changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schwarzeneg tries to avoid it but Bellido manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schwarzeneg to the ground. Schwarzeneg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Schwarzeneg clinches up with Bellido and pushes him back against the ropes. Bellido misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bellido lands with a short shot to the head. Bellido holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Schwarzeneg turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Schwarzeneg manages to end up in side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Schwarzeneg decides to stand back up. Schwarzeneg steps back and let's Bellido get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dale Bellido. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schwarzeneg moves into range and clinches up with Bellido. Schwarzeneg keeps control of Bellido as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Schwarzeneg has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bellido is trying to keep an underhook but Schwarzeneg manages to get the takedown into half guard. Schwarzeneg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bellido does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bellido wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Schwarzeneg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bellido keeps working. Bellido controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bellido kicks off Schwarzeneg and gets to his feet. Schwarzeneg closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bellido quickly recovers to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schwarzeneg trying to control from half guard but Bellido is working away. Schwarzeneg moves nicely into side control. Schwarzeneg decides to stand back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bellido fails with a takedown attempt. Bellido is breathing heavily. Schwarzeneg lands with a slapping head kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veli Schwarzeneg dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Schwarzeneg fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bellido sprawls well initially but Schwarzeneg persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bellido is staying active underneath Schwarzeneg, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Schwarzeneg is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Schwarzeneg working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Schwarzeneg throws an elbow that misses. Bellido uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Schwarzeneg's guard. Nice move by Bellido! Veli Schwarzeneg has got the better of the ground game so far. Bellido postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bellido won't allow Schwarzeneg to sweep him here. Schwarzeneg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bellido defends it easily. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bellido preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellido prevents Schwarzeneg from getting back to his feet. Schwarzeneg is breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bellido accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Schwarzeneg keeping moving, preventing Bellido from controlling successfully. Bellido won't allow Schwarzeneg to get back to his feet. Schwarzeneg looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bellido passes into half guard.
Bellido lands with a punch from half guard. Bellido is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bellido drops an elbow to the side of Schwarzeneg's head. Schwarzeneg is defending against the submission attempts here by Bellido.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bellido is trying to control. Schwarzeneg wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Schwarzeneg looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Schwarzeneg taking some punishment here, with Bellido in his half guard. Bellido wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schwarzeneg keeps working. Schwarzeneg is trying to stand up here but Bellido is controlling him well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bellido connects with a nice short shot to Schwarzeneg's temple. Bellido looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schwarzeneg wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bellido wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schwarzeneg keeps working. Bellido takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Schwarzeneg is looking to improve his position.
Schwarzeneg has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bellido is working away from the top position though. Bellido is controlling the pace.
Bellido passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Schwarzeneg! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bellido landing strikes from the mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bellido tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schwarzeneg swivels and escapes. Schwarzeneg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Schwarzeneg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Schwarzeneg jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bellido is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bellido and Schwarzeneg has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Schwarzeneg stands up and beckons Bellido to his feet. Schwarzeneg clinches up against the ropes. Schwarzeneg gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Schwarzeneg stops Bellido from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellido avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Schwarzeneg. Bellido slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Schwarzeneg gets to his feet. Bellido looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Schwarzeneg stuns Bellido with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Schwarzeneg slips a jab and a cross from Bellido.
Bellido gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Schwarzeneg to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bellido pulls Schwarzeneg in close to his closed guard and prevents Schwarzeneg from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg wants to stand but Bellido has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Schwarzeneg is posturing up here but Bellido has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Schwarzeneg tries to roll out but it's too tight and Schwarzeneg has to tap! Slick submission there by Bellido!
