Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Velazquez's choice of entrance music: Since the Flood- "Valor and Vengeance. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ari Velazquez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens tries to bum rush Velazquez with a series of wild strikes but Velazquez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stevens throws a series of punches but Velazquez moves out of range.
Stevens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Velazquez but Velazquez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stevens throws a nice looking combination but Velazquez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Velazquez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Mike Stevens has been cut.
Stevens misses with a hook.
Velazquez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stevens swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Velazquez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Velazquez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Stevens is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Velazquez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stevens doesn't seem bothered though.
Velazquez thuds a left hand into Stevens's body.
Velazquez lands a left and a right that send Stevens crashing to the mat, dazed. Velazquez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Stevens is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Velazquez engages and cracks Stevens with a massive lead left hook - Stevens tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Velazquez is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ari Velazquez!
Ari Velazquez decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
