Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Crocker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Hayao Miyazaki! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyazaki lands with a nice body punch. Miyazaki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Crocker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Miyazaki.
An inside leg kick lands from Crocker. Good work by Crocker as he checks the leg kick. Miyazaki looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Miyazaki misses with a body shot.
Chris Crocker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miyazaki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crocker manages to avoid it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Crocker lands with a right hand. Crocker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crocker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Crocker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Miyazaki is able to avoid easily. Crocker throws a jab when Miyazaki was well out of range. Miyazaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crocker moves away. Crocker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That kick from Crocker tenderised Miyazaki's leg. Miyazaki is trying to keep his angry face on. Crocker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Crocker cracks Miyazaki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Hayao Miyazaki has been cut. Miyazaki throws the left hand but Crocker avoids the punch easily. Miyazaki scores with a jab to the head.
Miyazaki throws a shot from downtown. Crocker moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyazaki connects with a body shot that sends Crocker's belly button to the back. A head kick from Crocker lands but Miyazaki takes it in his stride. Miyazaki is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Crocker rather than just go for the knockout. Nice uppercut there from Crocker. Crocker swings for the body but Miyazaki moves out of range.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Miyazaki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crocker throws out the jab. Jab from Crocker. Miyazaki is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! A big left from Crocker misses. Miyazaki is still on wobbly legs! Can Crocker finish him? Miyazaki is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Crocker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Miyazaki throws out the jab. Miyazaki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miyazaki throws a chopping leg kick but Crocker manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Miyazaki seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crocker misses with an uppercut. Miyazaki saw that one coming. Miyazaki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crocker manages to avoid it. Miyazaki lunges at Crocker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Crocker's hand. Crocker closes the distance and pushes Miyazaki back into the cage. Crocker scores with a shoulder strike. Crocker lands an uppercut. Crocker taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Crocker misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Miyazaki fails to land. The referee calls for Crocker to work.
Crocker cracks Miyazaki with a nice body shot. A battle for position here, against the cage. Crocker keeps control of Miyazaki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Crocker just leaning against Miyazaki, taking a breather. Miyazaki tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Crocker's elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miyazaki fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Miyazaki is trying to force a seperation but Crocker has the dominant position. A short right from Crocker. Crocker softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Crocker. Miyazaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fighters circle momentarily. Crocker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Crocker is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Miyazaki thows a left - swing and a miss! A slow jab from Crocker misses its intended target. Miyazaki looks to land a combination but Crocker avoids it well. Crocker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? Crocker lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Miyazaki falls backwards - clearly groggy! Crocker dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
