Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Howie The Wolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chu Park! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Park shoots in but no luck this time. The Wolf looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The Wolf shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Park is in all sorts of trouble here.
The Wolf is trying to control here but Park has managed to regain half guard.
The Wolf is taking a breather. Park says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The Wolf is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Park defends it well. Park is trying to control but can't.
The Wolf wants to control but Park is keeping him busy. The Wolf is looking to advance position but Park won't allow it. The Wolf content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park is looking to improve his position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Howie The Wolf wasn't doing enough on the ground. Park dips to his left and cracks The Wolf with an uppercut! The Wolf shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Park is trying to defend but The Wolf finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The Wolf is stalling here. Park is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! The Wolf seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Park has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Wolf is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Park has just dragged him back down to the mat. Park trying to control the action but The Wolf is working from the bottom. Park is trying to get an arm triangle but The Wolf is defending well. The Wolf is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Park asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sloppy strikes there by Park. Park wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by The Wolf, who protects the arm well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Wolf manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The Wolf kicks off Park and gets to his feet. The Wolf looks for a takedown but Park sprawls well. The Wolf is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Park's half guard. Park is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Park wants to get back to full guard. The Wolf is controlling the pace.
Park won't allow The Wolf to pass to mount. Park is staying active underneath The Wolf, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Park wants to control but The Wolf is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The Wolf tries for a takedown but Park sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Howie The Wolf dominated that round. That's time! The Wolf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The Wolf looks for a takedown but Park sprawls well. Park lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Park shoots in for a double leg but The Wolf sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The Wolf is trying hard to land a takedown here. Park sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Park tries to clinch there but The Wolf circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Park. No joy for The Wolf on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Howie The Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Park lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Both fighters circling a little - Park finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Park sizes up The Wolf with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Park misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Wolf darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The Wolf passes to full mount! Howie The Wolf overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The Wolf is in the full mount, landing strikes. Park has given up his back. Will we see The Wolf going for some submissions?
The Wolf has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The Wolf controlling the position well here. Park rolled but The Wolf kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Wolf throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Park!
Park wants to escape the position.
Park trying to control but not successfully. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Park won't enjoy being in this position. The Wolf looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Park is tapping - it's over boys! The Wolf picks up the submission victory!
