Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dell Trotter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen Freestyler as his entrance music. Brad Ryan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trotter lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Trotter.
Ryan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Trotter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ryan moves away.
Ryan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A swing and a miss from Trotter.
Trotter swats away the attempt to clinch by Ryan.
Ryan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ryan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Trotter.
Trotter misses with a hook. Ryan ducked under it nicely.
Ryan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ryan throws a hook but Trotter blocks it.

Ryan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Trotter. That did some damage!
Ryan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Trotter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Trotter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ryan at a distance.

Trotter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ryan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Trotter checks it well.

Ryan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Trotter. Trotter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ryan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ryan throws a sloppy head kick and Trotter moves out of range easily.
Ryan throws out a leg kick but Trotter moves out of range and Ryan only half commits.

Trotter cracks Ryan with an open hand slap.
Trotter scores with the left hand. Ryan knows he should have avoided that one.
Ryan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Trotter's head.
Trotter tries to bum rush Ryan with a series of wild strikes but Ryan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Trotter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ryan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Trotter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Trotter just misses with a punch to the body.

Ryan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trotter.
Ryan throws a body punch but Trotter moves out of range.
Trotter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Trotter drops his hands momentarily and Ryan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ryan doesn't manage to clinch there - Trotter circles away.

Trotter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ryan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ryan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trotter taking a break here but Ryan is having none of it and regains half guard.
Ryan gets back to full guard.
Trotter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Ryan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trotter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trotter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Trotter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ryan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryan has his foot on Trotter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trotter works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trotter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Trotter lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ryan!

Trotter lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Trotter is landing with some decent strikes but Ryan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
