Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green is looking to clinch.
Aldo pushes Green up against the cage in a clinch.
Green is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Aldo to keep the fight standing.
Aldo with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
A bit of stalling here from Aldo.
Aldo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Green backwards.
Green jumps guard but Aldo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A right hook to the body lands for Aldo.
Aldo lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Green blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Aldo misses with a punch on the inside.
Aldo throws a punch but it's blocked by Green.

Green has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aldo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Aldo wants to stand and escape but Green is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Landon Green just wasn't active enough.
Aldo throws a head kick but Green moves out of range.
Aldo moves out of range of the body kick from Green.

Green lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Green drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aldo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Aldo is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Aldo circles away and we're back to standing.

Green has Aldo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Aldo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Green swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Green fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aldo avoids it really well and circles away.

Green has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Aldo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
