Schmitt comes into the arena with In God We Trust - Stryper blaring out of the sound system. Miller has chosen Ice Cube - Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It as his entrance music. Owen Schmitt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmitt tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller moves into range and clinches up with Schmitt.
Schmitt tries to break the clinch but Miller is controlling the position.
Schmitt is trying to trip Miller. He has hold of a leg but Miller is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Schmitt persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Miller can't keep his opponent in guard - Schmitt advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Schmitt looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Schmitt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
