Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Gahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Thunderstruck by AC/DC blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Gahan.
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gahan's calf.
Silva thumps Gahan with a low kick.
Gahan tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
A good leg kick by Silva.
Gahan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva cracks Gahan with an open hand slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gahan wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dave Gahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gahan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Gahan to the canvas! Silva follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
