Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DJ Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Soulja Boy Tell'em - Crank That kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jason Carter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Carter!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots in for a double leg but Allen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Allen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Carter stops Allen from passing to mount.
Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carter keeps working.

Allen tries for a kimura but Carter is defending well.

Allen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Allen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carter has escaped the position, nice work there.

Allen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Allen is trying to get an arm triangle but Carter is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carter slips a nice elbow through Allen's hands, connecting with Allen's forehead.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Allen pushes Carter off looking to stand but Carter dives back in and keeps control.

Carter stands up and beckons Allen to join him on the feet.
Allen shoots in and drives through. Carter sprawls well.
Allen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carter.
Allen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carter.

DJ Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Allen dives in and scores a takedown into Carter's guard.
Carter is looking to stand up but Allen isn't so interested in that idea.
Carter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Carter looking for a sweep. Not yet Carter, not yet.
Allen looking to sit in guard and control but Carter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Allen keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully.

Carter is looking to work some ground and pound but Allen has wrist control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Allen forces Carter back against the cage and clinches.

Carter is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Allen can't fight it off and eventually Carter manages to take the fight to the floor. Allen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Carter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Allen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carter has managed to get both his arms back between Allen's legs - danger averted.

Allen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carter is aware though and is defending well.

Carter is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Allen has momentary wrist control but Carter slips an elbow through the middle.
Carter wants to control from the top but Allen keeps moving.
Carter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jason Carter wasn't active enough on the ground.

Carter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Allen to the ground. Carter is now in Allen's guard.

Carter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Carter is looking to work some ground and pound but Allen has wrist control.
Carter lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Jason Carter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Allen closes the distance and clinches up with Carter, looking for a takedown. Allen pushes Carter against the cage but Carter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Allen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carter is defended easily by Allen.
Allen leaves Carter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Allen throws a low kick but Carter avoids it.
Allen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Carter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Carter fails with the takedown.

Allen stuffs the takedown attempt from Carter. Carter gets slowly back to his feet.
Allen tries to clinch but Carter is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Allen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Allen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Allen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Allen wants it to stay on the feet.

Allen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
DJ Allen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Allen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Carter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Allen dives on top into guard.
Allen postures up in Carter's guard and throws a big left but Carter blocks it.
Jason Carter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Allen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Allen, into his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jason Carter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Carter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
