Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ryan Wesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Link Gatez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesley's entrance music is AC/DC - Thunderstruck. A fine choice. Link Gatez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gatez scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Wesley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wesley looks low and kicks high, catching Gatez right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
It looks like Link Gatez has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wesley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gatez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gatez throws a jab when Wesley was well out of range.
Wesley blocks a head kick by Gatez.
Gatez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wesley momentarily.
Wesley throws out a head kick that Gatez doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Gatez crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Gatez's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Gatez is rocked!
Wesley throws a combination that misses
and Gatez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gatez is still on wobbly legs! Can Wesley finish him?
Wesley cracks a nice hook into Gatez's ribs.
Gatez looks gassed!
Gatez backs away from a small jab... but Wesley lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Gatez crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Wesley with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Ryan Wesley!
