Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Sloan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has chosen T-moor Rodriguez - Out in space as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dominick Cruz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sloan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cruz is controlling him.

Cruz shoots for a double leg takedown but Sloan sprawls well. He's pushed Cruz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Cruz counters with a shoot takedown. Sloan fights it but they end up in guard.
Cruz tries to free his leg and advance position but Sloan is retaining full guard.

Cruz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cruz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sloan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cruz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dominick Cruz was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cruz shoots for a takedown but Sloan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

so Cruz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Cruz drops back looking for a leg! Sloan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sloan manages to kick Cruz off! Cruz jumps back into Sloan's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cruz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cruz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cruz wants to pass the guard but Sloan is keeping the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sloan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cruz counters with a shoot takedown. Sloan fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cruz drops back looking for a leg! Sloan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sloan manages to kick Cruz off! Cruz jumps back into Sloan's guard.
Cruz stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Sloan darts in trying to clinch
and Cruz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cruz.

Cruz is pushing down on Sloan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sloan is fighting to maintain full guard but Cruz has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloan wants to stand back up but Cruz manages to pass into side control.
Sloan tries to escape but Cruz is in control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cruz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sloan, who protects the arm well.
Cruz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Sloan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cruz has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Cruz lands some shots froms side control.
Cruz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sloan has escaped the position, nice work there.

Cruz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cruz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cruz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sloan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cruz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sloan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cruz lets go of the hold and Sloan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
