Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Hartmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartmann goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Aldo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aldo wants it to stay on the feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aldo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hartmann back to the cage. Aldo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Hartmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aldo tries to avoid it but Hartmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aldo to the ground. Aldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hartmann turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hartmann shoots in looking for a takedown but Aldo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hartmann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hartmann manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aldo on his heels. He'll look to pass Aldo's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hartmann gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
