Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiroko Mayamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Survivor - Eyes of The Tiger. Hiroko Mayamoto had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroko Mayamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Power! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power cracks Mayamoto with a right hand to the side of the head. Power avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mayamoto has managed to clinch.
Mayamoto ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mayamoto no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Mayamoto controls Power momentarily but Power frees himself. Power stopping the sweep attempt from Mayamoto. Power wants to stand but Mayamoto has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Power really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mayamoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Power stopping the sweep attempt from Mayamoto.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mayamoto is pulling down on Power's head to control his posture. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Power takes a swing at Mayamoto's ribcage but misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mayamoto connects with a nasty looking knee right to Power's face.

Mayamoto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Power avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Power looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. That's two minutes gone in the round. Power tries to circle away but Mayamoto has him pinned against the ropes. Mayamoto lands an elbow inside. Mayamoto pulls guard. Mayamoto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Power slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Power postures up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Power trying to control the position from guard on top but Mayamoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mayamoto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Power defends well. Mayamoto pulls Power in close to his closed guard and prevents Power from doing any damage or advancing position. Mayamoto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mayamoto is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mayamoto's guard. Power tries to free his leg and advance position but Mayamoto is retaining full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Power stands and steps away. Mayamoto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Mayamoto drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Power on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Jay Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayamoto tries to clinch there but Power circles away.
Power connects with a right that clearly hurt Mayamoto. He's backed up against the ropes with nowhere to go as Power proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Mayamoto collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Power! Jumping up and down and very excited, Jay Power waved his t-shirt featuring SNC Suplementos's logo in front of the cameras.
