The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier throws a low kick but it's checked well by Otorboater.
Otorboater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cormier swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cormier throws a series of punches but Otorboater moves out of range.
Corey Cormier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cormier throws a nice looking combination but Otorboater bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Otorboater tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cormier swivels and escapes.
Otorboater showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cormier.
Otorboater moves in looking to clinch but Cormier pushes him off.
Cormier throws a right hand that Otorboater ducks under and follows up with a left that Otorboater also avoids with ease.

Otorboater closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Otorboater avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cormier throws a series of punches but Otorboater avoids them all with ease.

Cormier tries to bum rush Otorboater with a series of wild strikes but Otorboater uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cormier throws a right and a left that Otorboater avoids nicely.
Cormier lands with a kick to the ribs.
Cormier lands with a big left! Otorboater is wobbled badly! Cormier comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Otorboater to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
