Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jet Rink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berg has chosen "Psycho Killer" by the Talking Heads as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rink changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Berg tries to avoid it but Rink manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Berg to the ground. Berg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Niko Berg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rink is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Berg gets his way!
Rink is in a bad position with Berg working for a choke. Rink manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Rink has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Berg has his foot on Rink's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rink works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Berg looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Rink is controlling Berg 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Berg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rink can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rink stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Berg manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Berg is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Rink is in real trouble.
Berg is persistently looking for the submission but Rink is defending it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Berg throws an elbow but Rink slips to the side and avoids it well.

Berg gets to mount! Rink was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Berg is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rink has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Berg has the hooks in. Rink is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
