Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe McGaleb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lockon Stratos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGaleb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stratos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stratos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McGaleb. That did some damage!
McGaleb throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McGaleb stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stratos.
Stratos tries to close the distance and clinch but McGaleb swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stratos throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
McGaleb misses with an uppercut.
Stratos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McGaleb misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Good work by McGaleb as he checks the leg kick.
Stratos looks to land a body kick but McGaleb moved away.
Stratos is looking to slow McGaleb down with leg kicks.
Stratos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A clash of legs there as McGaleb blocks the low kick.
A punch combination from Stratos misses.
McGaleb forces Stratos back against the cage and clinches.
Stratos tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Stratos tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McGaleb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stratos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

McGaleb moves in looking to clinch but Stratos pushes him off.
Stratos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McGaleb is out of range.
Stratos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stratos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stratos tries to clinch up but McGaleb circles away and keeps his distance.
McGaleb is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No luck for McGaleb with that takedown attempt.
Stratos misses with a few strikes there.
McGaleb swats away the attempt to clinch by Stratos.
Stratos throws the kick towards the body but McGaleb avoids it.
McGaleb has closed the distance and engaged Stratos in a clinch.
McGaleb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stratos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stratos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McGaleb digs a good body shot into Stratos's ribs.
Lockon Stratos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stratos looks gassed!
McGaleb is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stratos's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGaleb is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGaleb frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McGaleb takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

McGaleb is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Stratos is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Stratos flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McGaleb anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Stratos and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McGaleb slips an arm under Stratos chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McGaleb has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McGaleb is squeezing on Stratos like an anaconda would it's prey. Stratos fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Joe McGaleb!
