Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DuShayne Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Davidson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, DuShayne Walters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Davidson ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walters looks to land a left hand but Davidson moved out of range nicely. Davidson throws a nice looking combination but Walters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Walters lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Davidson checks a leg kick. Walters walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Davidson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Walters counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walters cracks Davidson with a solid left hand. Walters scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Walters advances to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walters connects with a nice short shot to Davidson 's temple. Davidson is trying to stand up here but Walters is controlling him well. Walters not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walters scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Walters passes the guard and advances to mount! Walters in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Walters lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Davidson hang on? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walters sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. That's two minutes gone in the round. Walters working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Davidson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Walters off and cradles Davidson 's limp body as Walters celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). DuShayne Walters! After winning the bout, DuShayne Walters thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
