Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pieter Roos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gareth Miller! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roos swats away the attempt to clinch by Miller. Miller drives through and clinches with Roos against the cage.
Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roos shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Roos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Roos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Roos moves into the clinch. Roos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Miller is defending well. Roos working hard to break the clinch. Roos connects with a knee to the head.

Miller moves to clinch but Roos breaks away letting Roos counter with a right hand. Miller tries to clinch up and Roos counters with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pieter Roos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller tries to clinch but Roos moves away and Roos counters by clinching up. Roos is looking to take this one to the mat. Miller taking a breather. Roos is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Miller gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Miller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Roos tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Miller takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Miller is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Roos to the mat. Roos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gareth Miller seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Roos goes for a takedown attempt but Miller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Roos avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Roos being controlled here, momentarily. Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Miller stands up and waves to Roos to follow him. Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roos can't break the clinch.

It looks like Pieter Roos has been cut. Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miller in particular looking to stall.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Miller defends it nicely. Roos tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. Roos wants to get back to striking at distance but Miller won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roos goes for a takedown attempt but Miller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Roos is trying to break the clinch but Miller is controlling him. Miller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Roos up against the cage. Roos wants to take the fight to the mat but Miller manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pieter Roos. Gareth Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller tries to clinch up but Roos circles away and keeps his distance. Roos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage. Miller throws an elbow but it misses.
Gareth Miller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Miller is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Roos can't get the takedown.

And that's the end of the fight! Gareth Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
