Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zack Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Carlyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zack Randolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Carlyle!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlyle swats away the attempt to clinch by Randolph.
Carlyle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Randolph really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carlyle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carlyle is looking to clinch but Randolph is avoiding it.
Randolph tries to clinch but Carlyle is having none of it.
Carlyle wants to clinch up but Randolph keeps it at a distance.
Randolph is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Carlyle moves into range and clinches up with Randolph.
Randolph jumps guard but Carlyle stands there with Randolph around his waist. Randolph gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Randolph gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Randolph decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Carlyle looks to clinch

and Randolph counters with a single leg into guard. Carlyle didn't expect that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Randolph controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Randolph decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Carlyle, up you get!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carlyle tries to clinch but Randolph is having none of it.
Carlyle tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Randolph counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Carlyle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Randolph. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Randolph trying to control but Carlyle is working from the bottom.
Randolph content to stall in guard here.
Carlyle wants to stand up but Randolph is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Randolph drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Randolph seems to have locked his on tight now - Carlyle screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Randolph, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Zack Randolph!
