Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Zargano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel Zargano is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodney Sullivan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabriel Zargano! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zargano gets caught napping as Sullivan dives in and scores a takedown. Zargano manages to retain guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Zargano is trying to keep Sullivan in close.
Zargano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sullivan's guard. Sullivan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Zargano puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Zargano wants to stand but Sullivan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Zargano wants to advance to full mount but Sullivan doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Sullivan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zargano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sullivan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zargano trying to control but Sullivan is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Zargano tries to free his leg and advance position but Sullivan is retaining full guard. Zargano trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sullivan trying to keep a closed guard but Zargano is proving a slippery customer.
Zargano trying to control the position from guard on top but Sullivan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sullivan looking for a guillotine here but Zargano defends easily.
Zargano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sullivan is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zargano decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sullivan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Zargano is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sullivan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Sullivan pulls guard successfully.
Zargano wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving. Zargano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sullivan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sullivan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Zargano uses it to pass to side control.
Sullivan is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zargano wants to stand but Sullivan is controlling his arm. Zargano wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sullivan keeps working. Zargano controlling the position. Sullivan wants to control but Zargano postures up. Zargano passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sullivan! Sullivan looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Sullivan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zargano on the ground. Zargano is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Sullivan is tapping out! This one is all over!
