Ron Brugnone struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brugnone shoots in looking for a takedown. Jonsen tries to sprawl out of it but Brugnone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Jonsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brugnone looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
