The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nijem shoots in but Amoussou avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Amoussou doesn't manage to clinch there - Nijem circles away.
Nijem shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amoussou as he jumps to the side.
Nijem shoots for a takedown but Amoussou saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nijem gets tackled into the cage by Amoussou. Amoussou maintains the clinch.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Amoussou tries to close the distance and clinch but Nijem swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ramsey Nijem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Amoussou is pushing Nijem's head away, looking to escape. Nijem manages to hold on to the position though.
