Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felix Cardosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cardosa gets a takedown into half guard.
Cardosa is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Cardosa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Cardosa trying to control from half guard but Lee is working away.
Cardosa seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Cardosa is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cardosa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lee trying to hold on to Cardosa's head to control him but Cardosa postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Felix Cardosa wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Lee closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cardosa's guard.
Cardosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lee wants to get up but he can't break Cardosa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lee won't allow Cardosa to sweep him here.

Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cardosa is looking to escape.
Lee working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Cardosa slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Still in half guard, Lee seems content to control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Cardosa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Felix Cardosa will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee tries to clinch up but Cardosa circles away and keeps his distance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tony Lee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cardosa. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee tries to clinch there but Cardosa circles away.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cardosa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cardosa wants to control the position but Lee says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Lee is looking for a kimura but Cardosa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lee to get the leverage.

Lee is thwarting Cardosa's attempts to control the position.
Cardosa is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cardosa keeps working.
Lee passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cardosa!
Cardosa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Lee looking to control but Cardosa is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Cardosa tries to reverse the position but Lee maintains control.
Lee throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cardosa because Lee loaded up on that one.
Lee lands a big elbow.
Cardosa is looking to get to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cardosa is working hard here to advance position.

Lee looking to break Cardosa's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Cardosa remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lee will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Tony Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cardosa holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lee tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Cardosa tries to hold on but Lee pushes him away.
Lee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Lee unloads with some shots from mount but Cardosa bucks and avoids them well.

Cardosa tries to lock up and control but Lee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cardosa is looking to improve his position but Lee isn't that keen on the idea.

Lee tries to get the hooks in deep but Cardosa pushed the leg off.

Cardosa rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Cardosa wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

Tony Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
