Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Cantrelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conlon gets caught napping as Cantrelle dives in and scores a takedown. Conlon manages to retain guard.

Cantrelle stands up and waves to Conlon to follow him.
Cantrelle tries to close the distance and clinch but Conlon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cantrelle takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Conlon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Conlon looks to score with a jab to the body but Cantrelle is just out of range.

Cantrelle drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A punch lands to the side of Cantrelle 's head but he takes it in his stride.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No joy there for Conlon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Conlon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Conlon lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Conlon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cantrelle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Conlon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cantrelle swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Conlon leaves Cantrelle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cantrelle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conlon pinned against the cage. Conlon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cantrelle shoots for a double leg takedown but Conlon sprawls well. He's pushed Cantrelle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cantrelle takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
