Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Murth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murth has chosen Enemy as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Hicks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murth swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hicks closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Murth moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Murth looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hicks throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Murth works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hicks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Murth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hicks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hicks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hicks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hicks lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Hicks gets the takedown into side control.
Murth is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hicks's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Murth is not content to let Hicks control the position.
Murth wants to control but Hicks is keeping busy.
Murth tries to roll over but Hicks keeps him under control.

Murth is looking to control Hicks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Murth avoid being mounted?

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hicks connects with a nice short shot to Murth's temple.

Murth wants to control but Hicks is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hicks thows a huge punch but Murth dodges it nicely.
Murth is pressing down on Hicks's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Murth wants to sweep but no luck.
Hicks tries to free his leg and advance position but Murth is retaining full guard.
Hicks working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Murth keeping moving, preventing Hicks from controlling successfully.
Murth preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hicks postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Murth is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hicks frees his head nicely. Oh but Murth has switched to an armbar! Hicks is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
