The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira has closed the distance and engaged Penguin in a clinch.
Oliveira successfully pulls guard.
Oliveira kicks Penguin off and gets to his feet.
Oliveira gets a clinch.
Oliveira lands an elbow that stopped Penguin in his tracks for a moment.
Oliveira putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Penguin in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oliveira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Oliveira moves into the clinch successfully.
Oliveira pulls Penguin into guard.
Penguin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oliveira is proving hard to escape from.
Oliveira looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Oliveira manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Penguin manages to get himself to full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kaue Oliveira hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Oliveira moves out of range as Penguin throws a body kick.
Oliveira pushes Penguin up against the cage in a clinch.
Penguin really is a fat lump.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Oliveira.
King Penguin's cut is getting worse.
Penguin is breathing heavily.
Oliveira breaks from the clinch.
Kaue Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Penguin, pushing him back against the cage.
Oliveira escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oliveira takes the fight into the clinch.
Oliveira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oliveira throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Penguin's head.
Jeez, King Penguin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at King Penguin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
