Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naruto Uzumaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzumaki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Naruto Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster throws a big shot that misses.
Uzumaki avoids the body shot from Webster.
Webster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Uzumaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Webster rushes Uzumaki and presses him up against the cage.

It looks like Naruto Uzumaki has been cut.

Webster ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Webster no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Uzumaki wants to get up but he can't break Webster's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Webster holds on and takes a little breather.

Uzumaki drops back looking for a leg! Webster is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Webster manages to kick Uzumaki off! Uzumaki jumps back into Webster's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Uzumaki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Webster dives on top into guard.

Uzumaki is looking for a triangle but Webster pushes his legs off easily.

Uzumaki can't keep his opponent in guard - Webster advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Webster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uzumaki on the ground.

Webster has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Uzumaki is proving hard to escape from.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Uzumaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Webster stands up over Uzumaki, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Webster closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Uzumaki has Webster pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Webster manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Webster jumps into guard, dragging Uzumaki to the mat.
Webster wants to stand but Uzumaki is controlling the position.
Uzumaki wants to stand and escape but instead Webster has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Webster tries to free his leg and advance position but Uzumaki is retaining full guard.

Uzumaki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Webster doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Webster manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Webster gets to his feet. Uzumaki looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Webster swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Uzumaki shoots in looking for a takedown. Webster tries to sprawl out of it but Uzumaki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Webster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sloppy strikes from Webster. Those never looked like landing.
Uzumaki tries to clinch there but Webster circles away.
Uzumaki scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Webster has closed the distance and engaged Uzumaki in a clinch.

Webster successfully pulls guard.
Uzumaki advances to half guard.

Uzumaki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Webster sees it coming and defends easily.

Uzumaki is trying to work for a kimura but Webster is defending well.

Uzumaki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Webster kicks Uzumaki off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Naruto Uzumaki dominated that round.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Webster has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Webster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Uzumaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Webster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Webster darts in and clinches Uzumaki up against the cage.

Uzumaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Webster keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Uzumaki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Webster tries to avoid it but Uzumaki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Webster to the ground. Webster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Webster lands a couple of elbows.

Webster gets to his feet - Uzumaki follows without any prompting.
Uzumaki shoots in for a double leg but Webster sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ben Webster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naruto Uzumaki.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
