Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Langley Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Langley Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vinnie Paul! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. Johnson tries to clinch there but Paul circles away.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paul swats him away and circles back towards the center. A combination from Johnson does no damage. Paul slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Paul tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Paul manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paul swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Paul. Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Langley Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johnson. Paul scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Paul is one step ahead there. Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Paul manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson passes Paul's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Johnson trying to pass the guard but Paul defending well. Johnson is keen to just control but Paul is a slippery customer. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Paul pushes Johnson off and gets back to his feet. Paul gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Johnson tries for a takedown. No joy.

No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Paul shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Paul was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Johnson is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is working hard here to advance position. Johnson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paul has a closed guard, preventing Johnson from standing up. Paul can't keep his opponent in guard - Johnson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Johnson moves into full mount! Paul won't be happy about that!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson moves to the back position. Johnson is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Paul is tapping out! This one is all over!
