Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Barral!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob swinging wildly here.
Bob will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Bob misses.
Bob throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bob throws a nice looking combination but Barral bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Barral closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bob circles away.
Barral dodges the punch combination from Bob.
Nice straight punches there by Bob. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bob.

Barral closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bob wants to get back to his feet but Barral drags him back down.

Bob bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barral is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Barral looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bob is fending him off so far but Barral persists. Nope, Bob circles away and we're back to standing.

Bob moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barral slips a jab and a cross from Bob.
Bob lands a nice hook to Barral's body. Barral takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Bob counters with a left and a right that stings Barral.
Bob throws a series of punches but Barral moves out of range.

Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Barral is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bob sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Barral closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Barral pushes Bob against the cage but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barral moves forwards but Bob connects with a nice, crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barral throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Barral closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Barral pushes Bob against the cage but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Billy Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Barral.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barral is defended easily by Bob.
Bob pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Barral back to the cage. Bob follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Bob's corner calls for a 1-2. Bob obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Barral has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Barral shoots in but no luck this time.
Barral with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bob to score with a decent uppercut.
Barral is still on wobbly legs! Can Bob finish him?
Bob lands a lovely overhand right.
Billy Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Barral dives in and scores a takedown into Bob's guard.
Barral seems to have recovered his senses.
Bob is looking to stand up but Barral isn't so interested in that idea.
Barral showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Bob has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Barral off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
