Rucinski comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne - Drop The World ft. Eminem. Doctor Rockzo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karol Rucinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doctor Rockzo!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rockzo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rucinski to the mat! Rucinski manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rockzo won't allow Rucinski to sweep him here.
Rockzo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rucinski is on top in guard.

Rucinski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rockzo dives on top into guard.

Rockzo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rockzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rucinski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

BOOM! Rucinski connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Rockzo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rucinski is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rockzo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rucinski fails to move to back control.
Rockzo has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Rucinski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rockzo's guard.
Rucinski with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Rucinski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rucinski is looking to advance position but Rockzo won't allow it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Rucinski throws a shot from downtown. Rockzo moves away and avoids it.
Rockzo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rucinski moves away.
Rucinski keeps the fight on the outside.
Rucinski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rockzo doesn't seem bothered though.
Sloppy strikes from Rockzo. Those never looked like landing.
Rockzo tries to clinch up but Rucinski circles away and keeps his distance.
Rucinski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rucinski connects with a looping right hand.

Rucinski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rockzo!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rockzo is trying to escape the mount.
Rockzo wants to hold on but Rucinski pushes him away.
Rucinski takes Rockzo's back.

Rucinski sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Rockzo taps out!
