The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White dives in and scores a takedown into Bravo's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. White drops back looking for a leg! Bravo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bravo manages to kick White off! White jumps back into Bravo's guard. White pushes down on Bravo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bravo is trying to stand up here but White is controlling him well. White is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bravo defends it well. White is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bravo is defending against the submission attempts here by White.
White is working for a kimura but Bravo is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bravo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bravo's head. White has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bravo defend it? White steps over the head and cranks it - Bravo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for White!
