Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brockoli Esnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyrus Bane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brockoli Esnar!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Esnar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Esnar feints and as Bane raises his hands in defense, Esnar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Esnar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Esnar chips away with some ground and pound.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brockoli Esnar wasn't active enough on the ground.
Bane moves away from the strike by Esnar.
Bane throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bane throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Esnar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bane is in Esnar's guard.
Bane postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bane throws a strike but Esnar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bane can't keep his opponent in guard - Esnar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bane wants to control but Esnar is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Esnar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bane knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Esnar counters with a nice double leg into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brockoli Esnar dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Esnar shoots in and gets a takedown into Bane's guard.
Bane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Esnar is one step ahead there.
Esnar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Esnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Brockoli Esnar has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Esnar scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A combination from Bane does no damage.
Bane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Esnar misses the target.
Bane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Esnar manages to avoid it.

Esnar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Brockoli Esnar has got the better of the ground game so far.

Esnar cracks Bane with a big elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee asks Esnar politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Esnar prefers to stall for the moment though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Esnar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bane sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bane is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Esnar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Esnar wants to control but Bane is keeping him busy.
Esnar postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bane gets back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Esnar is thwarting Bane's attempts to control the position.
Bane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bane tries to get out of the position.

Brockoli Esnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Bane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Esnar has time to react.
Bane misses with an uppercut. Esnar saw that one coming.

Esnar lands a couple of digs.
Bane keeping moving, preventing Esnar from controlling successfully.
Esnar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Cyrus Bane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Brockoli Esnar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brockoli Esnar was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bane throws a right hand that misses
enabling Esnar to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Esnar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Esnar avoids the body shot from Bane.
Esnar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Esnar moves out of range of the strikes.
Esnar is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Esnar fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bane to the ground. Esnar is now in Bane's guard.
Esnar looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Esnar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Esnar passes Bane's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Esnar performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Let's hope that Esnar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Esnar but Esnar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Esnar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bane looks to score with a jab to the body but Esnar is just out of range.

and Esnar counters with a shoot takedown. Bane fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Esnar content to stall in guard here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Brockoli Esnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Esnar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
