Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Run On Sentence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar comes into the arena with Rick Ross- The Boss blaring out of the sound system. Sentence is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Keep Your Head- Jon Connor. Anderson Edgar has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sentence blocks a head kick by Edgar.
Anderson Edgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Sentence misses.
Sentence takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sentence looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sentence closes the distance and clinches up with Edgar, looking for a takedown. Sentence pushes Edgar against the cage but Edgar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sentence fails to land the takedown.
Anderson Edgar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Run On Sentence .
Edgar tries to clinch but Sentence moves away
and Edgar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Edgar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Edgar scoring well with a low kick there.
Sentence looks gassed!
Edgar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sentence moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sentence misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sentence takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sentence takes a kick to the side of the head.
Edgar throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Sentence is trying desperately to land a takedown but Edgar is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Sentence .
Edgar lands a head kick. Sentence smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Anderson Edgar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Edgar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sentence tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sentence takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Edgar closes the distance and pushes Sentence back into the cage.
Edgar with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Edgar crunches a lovely knee into Sentence 's ribcage.
Edgar stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The referee calls for Edgar to work.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Edgar for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Edgar connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sentence 's face.
Sentence takes an elbow to the temple.
Edgar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Edgar successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Edgar looking for a guillotine here but Sentence defends easily.
Edgar looking for a sweep. Not yet Edgar, not yet.
Edgar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sentence has picked Edgar up and slammed him! Edgar can't keep hold of the triangle and Sentence manages to pass to side control!
Edgar manages to get back to half guard.
Edgar is trying to maintain the position but Sentence is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Edgar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Edgar.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Edgar is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sentence throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Edgar's body to avoid the submission. Edgar has instead reached around Sentence 's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Edgar arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Anderson Edgar!
