Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Pilgrim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Jong Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pilgrim comes to the cage accompanied by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T92zDMmumsI#. Jong Dong has chosen Aegukka as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kim Jong Dong is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Pilgrim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Jong Dong!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Dong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pilgrim pinned against the cage. Pilgrim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pilgrim wants to clinch up but Jong Dong keeps it at a distance.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pilgrim, right into the meat.
Jong Dong shoots in looking for a takedown. Pilgrim tries to sprawl out of it but Jong Dong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pilgrim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pilgrim cracks Jong Dong with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jong Dong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pilgrim avoids it really well and circles away.
Billy Pilgrim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Jong Dong.
Pilgrim lands a nice hook to Jong Dong's body. Jong Dong takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jong Dong tries for a takedown but Pilgrim circles away easily
enabling Pilgrim to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Kim Jong Dong has been cut.

Jong Dong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pilgrim counters with a series of strikes. Jong Dong will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jong Dong walks into a left hand.
Pilgrim has managed to clinch.
Jong Dong has hold of one of Pilgrim's legs. Pilgrim is fighting the takedown attempt but Jong Dong gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jong Dong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jong Dong trying to control but Pilgrim is working from the bottom.
Jong Dong pushing down on Pilgrim's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pilgrim on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Jong Dong is trying to control the action in half guard but Pilgrim is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jong Dong is thwarting Pilgrim's attempts to control the position.
Jong Dong stalling away here and it's allowed Pilgrim to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Pilgrim has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jong Dong throws an elbow that misses. Pilgrim uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jong Dong's guard. Nice move by Pilgrim!

Jong Dong working for submissions but it's allowed Pilgrim to get to half guard.
Jong Dong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jong Dong tries to roll over but Pilgrim keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kim Jong Dong was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jong Dong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pilgrim's waist but Pilgrim gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jong Dong off to one side.
Pilgrim slaps away a takedown attempt from Jong Dong, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jong Dong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pilgrim as he jumps to the side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice sprawl there from Pilgrim as Jong Dong shoots in.
Jong Dong shoots for a takedown but Pilgrim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Kim Jong Dong's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pilgrim throws a combination. Jong Dong tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jong Dong closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kim Jong Dong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pilgrim feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jong Dongs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jong Dong shoots in for a double leg but Pilgrim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jong Dong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pilgrim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jong Dong fails with the takedown
and Pilgrim counters with a right hand to the body.
Pilgrim has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pilgrim softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
That has opened up Kim Jong Dong's cut even more.
Jong Dong is breathing heavily.
Pilgrim is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Pilgrim wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pilgrim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pilgrim digs a good hook to Jong Dong's body.
Pilgrim throws a good cross that connects.
Pilgrim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jong Dong shoots in for a double leg but Pilgrim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Billy Pilgrim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Jong Dong.
A shot to the liver by Pilgrim. Beautiful body shot.
Pilgrim lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jong Dong at a distance.

Pilgrim moves into the clinch successfully.
Pilgrim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pilgrim shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jong Dong eats them both and turns towards Pilgrim to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Pilgrim stuns Jong Dong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jong Dong fails with the takedown
and Pilgrim counters with a nice uppercut.
Pilgrim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pilgrim lands a head shot.
The cut above Kim Jong Dong's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pilgrim scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jong Dong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pilgrim counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Pilgrim lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Pilgrim lands a left and a right that send Jong Dong crashing to the mat, dazed. Pilgrim thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jong Dong is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pilgrim cracks a nice hook into Jong Dong's ribs.
Jong Dong is still on wobbly legs! Can Pilgrim finish him?
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pilgrim lands an elbow inside that Jong Dong shrugs off.
Kim Jong Dong's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pilgrim lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jong Dong to his knees! Pilgrim keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Pilgrim!
In his post fight interview, Billy Pilgrim started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
