Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clark Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Tentheros!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent just misses with a punch to the body.
Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tentheros. Tentheros obviously looking to wear him down.
Kent fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Kent lands a body shot.
Tentheros takes a swing at Kent's ribcage but misses.
Tentheros blocks a jab.
Kent checks the leg kick.
Tentheros drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tentheros connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kent. Kent circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut.
Tentheros fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kent keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kent throws a leg kick
and Tentheros counters with a good low kick that Kent was not able to check.
Kent swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kent missing with a left hand there. Tentheros was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tentheros changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kent looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kent is looking to regain half guard here but Tentheros keeps moving and retains side control.
Tentheros throws an elbow but Kent slips to the side and avoids it well.
Kent is looking to reverse the position.
Tentheros sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kent is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kent is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Tentheros is working to tighten is grip on Kent's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kent has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tentheros is really squeezing tight and eventually Kent passes out! Tentheros breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ken Tentheros!
A determined Ken Tentheros didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
