Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uda Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Carter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hero defends it nicely.

It looks like Uda Hero has been cut.

Hero shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hero got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hero has managed to get both his arms back between Carter's legs - danger averted.

Uda Hero has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Carter. No joy for Hero on that attempt.

Carter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hero on his heels. He'll look to pass Hero's guard now, I'm sure.

Carter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Carter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Carter pushes Hero off and gets back to his feet.
Hero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hero looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carter stuffs the takedown attempt from Hero. Hero gets slowly back to his feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carter, as that shot connected.
Carter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hero but Hero pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hero lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Carter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Carter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
