Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jhonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jhonson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Linkin Park - In The End. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wooten's choice of entrance music: Sweet Dreams. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wooten is defended easily by Jhonson.
Wooten should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Wooten shoots in looking for a takedown. Jhonson tries to sprawl out of it but Wooten keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jhonson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wooten shoots in looking for a takedown but Jhonson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wooten's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wooten connects with a nice short shot to Jhonson's temple.

Jhonson feints a jab promting Wooten to slip. Jhonson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wooten slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
