Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Lilburne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Bortman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lilburne comes into the arena with You'll never walk alone blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilburne moves in looking to clinch but Bortman pushes him off.
Lilburne uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bortman.
Bortman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lilburne finds it's way round the side to connect with Bortman's head.
It looks like Alex Bortman has been cut.

Bortman's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Bortman loads up on a big right hand but Lilburne slips the punch.

Lilburne wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Lilburne circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Bortman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lilburne follows Bortman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
