Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Busy Signal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari WW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Busy Signal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ari WW!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Signal closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. WW did well to prevent Signal getting side control.
Signal is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
WW tries to get to full guard but Signal has control of the leg.
Signal takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
WW is concentrating on defense, preventing Signal from advancing position.
Signal passes to full mount!
Signal prevents WW from getting the reversal.
WW wants to hold on but Signal pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
WW is in all sorts of trouble here.
Signal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Signal with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Signal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Signal wants to control from the top but WW keeps moving.

Signal pushes down on WW's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Signal wants to control but WW is keeping him busy.

WW gets full guard.
WW lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Signal!

Signal is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and WW defends well.

Signal working for a triangle but WW defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Busy Signal will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



WW shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Signal is trying to defend but WW finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Signal gets back to full guard.
WW trying to control the position from guard on top but Signal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Signal pulls WW in close to prevent any damage.

WW is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

WW wants to stand up but Signal is controlling the position.

Signal looking to secure an arm triangle but WW defends it well.
Signal wants to take WW's back here but WW is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Signal postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. WW looks a forlorn figure.
Busy Signal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Signal won't let WW get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

WW tries to reverse the position but Signal maintains control.

Signal has control of WW's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and WW regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's time! Signal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



WW dives in and scores a takedown into Signal's guard.

Signal sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

WW misses with a head shot. Signal uses the momentum to regain guard.

Signal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but WW can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ari WW comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Signal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Ari WW was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
