Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Cliche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Miseria Cantare - The Beginning. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Cliche showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Taylor.

Cliche tries for a takedown but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Taylor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cliche looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Cliche slips a jab from Taylor. A combination from Taylor does no damage. Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cliche changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to avoid it but Cliche manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taylor to the ground. Taylor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Cliche counters with a nice double leg into guard. Taylor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Taylor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cliche won't allow Taylor to sweep him here. Taylor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Taylor has escaped and now he's on top! Taylor preventing the sweep. Cliche uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Taylor throws a right hand that Cliche ducks under and follows up with a left that Cliche also avoids with ease. Jab, jab by Taylor - just one landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Taylor. Cliche does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor misses the shot to the body. Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cliche moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cliche slips a jab and a cross from Taylor.
Jake Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cliche uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Taylor. A slow jab from Taylor misses its intended target. Cliche shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Taylor napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cliche has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The ground and pound from Cliche seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. That's four minutes gone in the round. Cliche creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Taylor on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Cliche in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. This has been an exciting period of action! Cliche scoring with punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cliche tries to score with some ground and pound. Taylor controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Taylor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Taylor tries to get out of the position. Cliche scoring with punches and elbows. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cliche tries for a kimura but Taylor is defending well. Cliche tries to score with some ground and pound. Taylor controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Cliche dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cliche steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Taylor. Cliche has his takedown stuffed and Taylor counters with a stiff right hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Taylor. Cliche does a little dance to reset his feet. Cliche dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
Cliche bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cliche takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Cliche keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor looks to score with a jab to the body but Cliche is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cliche closes the distance and clinches up with Taylor, looking for a takedown. Cliche pushes Taylor against the cage but Taylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Taylor misses with a few strikes there.
Taylor looks to land a left hand but Cliche moved out of range nicely. Taylor throws a jab when Cliche was well out of range. Jake Taylor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Taylor scores with a hook to the body. Cliche takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Taylor just misses with a punch to the body.
Cliche has a takedown stuffed. Jake Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Cliche. Taylor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cliche manages to avoid it. Cliche blocks a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cliche throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cliche is in Taylor's guard. Cliche postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Cliche throwing strikes from guard but Taylor blocks nicely. Cliche throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Taylor works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cliche lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taylor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cliche is one step ahead there. Cliche in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Charlie Cliche has got the better of the ground game so far. Cliche missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cliche connects with a nice short shot to Taylor's temple. Cliche working Taylor over with strikes. Cliche takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cliche looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Cliche not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
