Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Senbude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Scylla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scylla changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Senbude looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Senbude throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Senbude is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Senbude looking for a sweep but Scylla has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Senbude wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Senbude throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scylla works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Senbude stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scylla swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Senbude is pushing down on Scylla's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scylla is fighting to maintain full guard but Senbude has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Senbude thows a huge punch but Scylla dodges it nicely.
Senbude missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Senbude thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scylla's head.
Senbude is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Scylla defends it well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Senbude misses with a body shot
and Scylla counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Senbude tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Scylla has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Senbude swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Senbude bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kenny Scylla showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Scylla slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well Scylla has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
