Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tommi Turmiola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Khan!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan fails to land with a series of punches.
Turmiola swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Turmiola avoids the body shot from Khan.
Khan throws a series of punches but Turmiola moves out of range.
Turmiola circles away from the clinch attempt

and Turmiola counters by moving into the clinch.
Khan softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Khan wants to get back to striking at distance but Turmiola won't allow it.
Khan trying to control the position but instead, Turmiola has worked for underhooks and has pushed Khan into the cage.

Turmiola breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Turmiola throws a nice inside leg kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Turmiola.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Turmiola has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Turmiola creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Turmiola scores with punches from side control.
Khan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turmiola. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Turmiola stands up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fight stays on the outside here - Turmiola looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turmiola misses with a jab, cross combination.
Khan moves forwards but Turmiola connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Khan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turmiola blocks a jab.
Khan misses with an uppercut. Turmiola saw that one coming.
Turmiola throws the left hand but Khan avoids the punch easily.
Turmiola shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Turmiola's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Khan lands a jab.
Jack Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turmiola ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Khan misses with a few strikes there.

Turmiola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turmiola is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Khan is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tommi Turmiola!
