Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duane Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Materla comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sobota feat. chór Montu - Do góry łeb (prod. Matheo) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Shepherd.
Materla is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Shepherd's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Shepherd tries to roll over but Materla keeps him under control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Materla seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shepherd does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Shepherd is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Duane Shepherd wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Shepherd throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Materla swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Materla slips under a jab.
Shepherd throws a leg kick but Materla checks it.
Shepherd throws an off balance right hand
and Materla counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Materla throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shepherd.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Materla checks a leg kick.
Materla scores a takedown into full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Shepherd is working hard here to advance position.
Materla swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Shepherd is now in Materla's guard. A big mistake from Materla there, giving up the dominant position!
Shepherd postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Materla is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shepherd, into his guard.
Shepherd looking for a triangle here. Materla is fighting it but it looks tight! Shepherd pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Materla is tapping out - this one is all over!
